Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Search

Position:
The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), who is the second-ranking administrator on campus, reports directly to the President and is a member of the President's Cabinet. The Provost/VPAA directs and supports academic policies and programs for the university. Management responsibilities include supervising the offices and programs of the Deans of the four colleges, the Registrar, Library, Honors College, the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, Instructional Technology, Institutional Research, Grants and Sponsored Programs, Graduate Studies, Global e-College, Academic Support and Advising, and other specialized academic programs (such as Study Abroad and International Studies). Other duties include administrative responsibility for budget preparation and supervision, curriculum development, strategic planning, assessment, accreditation, program evaluation, and scheduling.
