Kate Blankenship
Help Students Realize Their Dreams with Your Gift to The W Fund

Meet Kate Blankenship, a biology major in the Class of 2025.

Kate says, "The opportunity to play soccer brought me to The W, and my scholarship has eased the financial burden on my family and me. Being a student-athlete has taught me valuable lessons in time management and communication, both in the classroom and on the field. With the support of understanding professors and coaches who believe in me, I’ve been able to grow and succeed. As I prepare for graduation, I’m truly grateful for donors who make these opportunities possible."

By supporting The W Fund, you provide scholarships, academic and extracurricular program resources, facilities enhancements, and so much more for students like Kate.

Make a gift in support of our students and the many learning opportunities available at The W.

Increase Your Impact with an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution

For alumni and friends age 70 1⁄2 and older, an IRA qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a tax-smart way to support The W.

You may direct your financial institution to transfer these funds directly to the MUW Foundation. A QCD can satisfy your annual required minimum distribution and offer savings on taxes that otherwise would be paid on IRA distributions.

Learn more about giving to the The W with a QCD from your IRA.
