Application packets for this test are available in the Academic Counseling Department on the Raymond Campus.  Effective Fall 1996, the State Board of Education approved an exemption to the NTE for any student who had an ACT composite score of 21 (SAT equivalent of 860) with no sub-score below 18 UPON HIS/HER INITIAL ENTRANCE INTO COLLEGE. A student who has earned any college credit before taking the ACT does not qualify for this exemption.
