MUW offers Tuition Guarantee Program for EMCC           

COLUMBUS, Miss. – Mississippi University for Women is now offering a Tuition Guarantee Program for East Mississippi Community College graduates from Lowndes County who have earned their associate’s degree.

Dr. Bucky Wesley, vice president for student services, said, “This is an opportunity for EMCC and MUW to partner in ensuring access to higher education for Lowndes County residents.”

This program will allow qualified students to attend MUW tuition-free for up to four semesters.           

Requirements for the Tuition Guarantee Program with EMCC include:

• Earned associate degree
• A 2.5 GPA on transfer work
• Lowndes County resident
• All federal, state and other scholarships applied to tuition cost first
• Guarantee covers only tuition
• Student must meet MUW admission requirements
