Prints from the Permanent Collection

The Prints from the Permanent Collection exhibit will feature of a wide variety of prints from artists ranging from the Nineteenth to the Twenty First Century.
The university’s permanent collection was first established in 1948 by department chair Dr. Ralph Hudson to help educate art majors. As one of the earliest publicly held permanent art collections in the state, the university’s permanent collection houses approximately 900 works of art.
The Mississippi University for Women Galleries, located on the first floor of Summer Hall, are open Monday through Wednesday and Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., following the university calendar.
