Mississippi University for Women’s Student Programing Board is excited to once again host its annual fall festival, Oktoberfest.

This year’s event will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, on the Shattuck Lawn.

“The Student Programming Board has worked hard preparing for this year’s Oktoberfest. Students are ready for fall and ready for fall festival fun!” said Amanda Williams, coordinator of student engagement.

As usual, there will be carnival-style games and other assorted entertainment including live performances and novelties. The costume contest for 0 to 12-year-olds is returning and will begin at 6 p.m.

The event is open to the public, and tickets for the event are 50 cents each.

In addition to the entertainment, there will be assorted food trucks on site.
