Ethan Black is a visiting assistant professor of mathematics. He earned his BS and MS in Mathematics from Mississippi State University.

Dr. Brian Burnes is an assistant professor of biology education. He earned his BS in Applied Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Applied Biology with 18+ hours in chemistry from Georgia Tech.

Kaitlyn Harmon

Kaitlyn Harmon is an instructor in the ASN program. She earned her AS in Nursing and Applied Science from Itawamba Community College, her BS in Nursing from Delta State University and her MS in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University.

Bentrice Heard

Bentrice Heard is an instructor in the BSN program. She earned her AS and BS in Nursing from The W. She also recently finished the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Walden University.

Dr. Iheoma Nwachukwu is an assistant professor of English / Creative Writing Fiction. He earned his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Calabar, his MFA from the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Philosophy, Creative Writing from Florida State University.
