W Faculty Past and Present

The Department of Art and Design at The W has benefited from its excellent faculty since its inception.  This exhibition acknowledges faculty contributions to the program with artwork from the university permanent art collection.  The artists range from our earliest professors Mamie H. Pennell (taught 1901 – 1924) and Betty McArthur (1909 – 1933) to current professors Shawn L. Dickey and Alex Stelioes-Wills.  Alumni favorites Eugenia Summer, Mary Evelyn Stringer, Larry Feeney, and Tom Nawrocki are also featured plus several more.
