Scholarship Opportunities
The Department of Psychology & Family Science offers several scholarships for Family Science majors each year. The university also has numerous scholarships for freshmen, transfer students, and current students.
Organizations
Students may choose to get involved with the many student and professional organizations on campus. These organizations provide excellent networking and career development opportunities, as well as a chance to meet with other students in your major.
Undergraduate Research
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) provides students with opportunities and resources to conduct research individually or in conjunction with faculty throughout the university. The office also aids students in publication and presentation of research though journals and conferences.
Reference Request
Use this form to request a letter of reference for graduate school from faculty in the department.
Study Abroad
The Office of Study Abroad organizes faculty-led programs to multiple countries and coordinates with international universities on exchange programs around the globe.
Gordy Honors College
The Honors College offers academic community in honors courses and beyond, opportunities to work closely with faculty across campus, and hands-on, real-world experiences that matter, including independent research and study abroad. Qualified students who successfully complete the Honors requirements graduate with honors in their major area of study.
Student Success Center
The SSC is a place where all students can come to receive advice, tutoring, feedback, and strategies in various academic areas. The center’s mission is to provide students with the necessary tools for academic success at the W and beyond. The services offered are free to all W students.
