Call for Research Proposals
Projects funded by this grant should be focused on faculty research intended for publication and/or utilization by the faculty member according to the methods common within one’s academic area. Areas of possible funding include: research equipment or supplies; travel with a substantial research component; salary and supplies for MUW student research assistants who are contributing to the faculty member’s research agenda; and other expenses incurred in the course of faculty research. The Faculty Research Committee invites all faculty to submit proposals for research projects to be funded during each academic year.

Research and Creative Activity Awards
Faculty Research and Creative Activity Awards are intended as an opportunity for The W to recognize faculty research and creative activity and the impact that research and creative activity has on scholarship beyond The W community. Research and Creative Activity Awards range from early career research and creative activity to sustained research and creative activity over the course of an academic career. Faculty Research and Creative Activity Awards are determined through a nomination process by The W Community and selected after review by the Faculty Research Committee (FRC). Awards will be distributed at the Faculty Research and Creative Activity Luncheon.
