The Culinary Arts Institute at The W offers the ProStart Scholarship to support students who have completed the high school ProStart curriculum and are pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts. This prestigious scholarship is designed to reward students for their dedication to culinary education and help ease the financial burden of obtaining a degree. Currently, the ProStart Scholarship is valued at $3,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years, providing significant financial support throughout the student's academic journey.

To remain eligible for the ProStart Scholarship, students must maintain continuous enrollment at The W with a declared major in Culinary Arts. Additionally, students are required to complete a minimum of 24 credit hours each academic year, with at least 12 credit hours taken in both the Fall and Spring semesters. This requirement ensures that students stay on track to graduate while fully immersing themselves in their culinary studies.

Another critical aspect of maintaining the ProStart Scholarship is academic performance. Scholarship recipients must earn and maintain a cumulative university GPA of 2.50 or higher each semester. This standard encourages students to remain focused and committed to their coursework, ultimately fostering academic excellence within the Culinary Arts program.
