Mississippi’s Career and Technical Education Programs provide a bright pathway into degree paths—specifically, the Early Childhood and Teacher Academy pathways into our licensure tract Elementary Education Program.  

On Teacher Academy Day, the School of Education hosts local CTE Education-specific programs on campus for a day of learning, recruitment, and interaction with the university community.  

Teacher Academy Day is typically the second Friday of December.  

The School of Education Faculty is also available to come to schools in the area and discuss their future as an educator in Mississippi. For more information, contact Penny Mansell.
