Judge Wooten will discuss issues for women, and in particular women of color, in running for public office, including obstacles to deciding to seek office, perceptions of women when they run, and women’s success in winning elections. She will be in conversation with Dr. Chanley Rainey, Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Center for Women’s Research and Public Policy and NEW Leadership® Mississippi.
