The Master of Public Health (MPH) in Public Health is a fully online program that consists of forty-two credit-hours of coursework and three credit-hours of either an internship or research. The MPH core courses provide instruction and a basis of knowledge in coursework that is basic to public health, including biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health sciences, program administration, and social and behavioral sciences.

Graduate comprehensive exam successfully completed
Any student graduating in the MPH in Public Health will be required to maintain a 3.0 commutative average throughout the degree program with no more than two grades of "C." Students must complete thirty-six hours of coursework and three hours of an internship or research. Students must pass the Comprehensive Final Exam and take the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam. Information about this exam can be found at: CHES Exam. Students should apply for graduation at the MUW Office of the Registrar the semester prior to the expected graduation date.
