The Office of Housing & Residence Life at The W seeks qualified candidates for full-time and part-time positions on our team. All professional staff openings will be posted on the University’s Human Resources website.
Student Employment
Resident Advisor (RA) Position
To be considered as a candidate for Resident Advisor (RA), applicants must:
- Attend an interest session (generally held in the fall semester)
- Complete and submit an application by the application deadline
- Meet all requirements for the position
- Submit completed reference forms
- Participate in the selection process
Successful candidates must:
- Be a full time enrolled MUW student (maintaining at least 12 undergraduate credits or 9 graduate credits).
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher (and have a semester GPA of at least 2.5 the semester prior to employment).
- Have no continuing record of University disciplinary action at the time of application or appointment.
- Have at least one completed semester of on-campus living experience (or other approved “similar experience”) prior to the employment start date and have completed 24 credit hours prior to the employment start date.
Any exception to this applicant policy will be left up to the review of the Department Housing & Residence Life administration.
Desk Assistant (DA) Position
To be considered as a candidate for Desk Assistant (DA), applicants must:
- Complete and submit an application by the application
- Meet all requirements for the position
- Participate in the selection process
Successful candidates must:
- Be a full time enrolled MUW student (maintaining at least 12 undergraduate credits or 9 graduate credits).
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.25 or higher (and have a semester GPA of at least 2.25 the semester prior to employment).
- Have no continuing record of University disciplinary action at the time of application or appointment.
Facilities Assistant (FA) Position
To be considered as a candidate for Facilities Assistant (FA), applicants must:
- Complete and submit an application by the application
- Meet all requirements for the position
- Participate in the selection process
Successful candidates must:
- Be a full time enrolled MUW student (maintaining at least 12 undergraduate credits or 9 graduate credits).
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.25 or higher (and have a semester GPA of at least 2.25 the semester prior to employment).
