The Center of it All
Overlooking a two acre greenspace in the South Campus community, Jones Hall is home to female upperclassmen and freshmen residents.
Residents in Jones are located at the heart of the South Campus community. The hall is steps from Stark Recreation Center and Fant Memorial Library. Emma Ody Pohl Gymnasium is located just across 11th Street. Grab a cup of coffee from Common Grounds on your way to class, most academic buildings on campus are less than a 10 minute walk from Jones Hall.
The Office of Housing and Residence Life completed a residence hall enhancement project in Jones in 2014, adding enhanced Wi-Fi, as well as new furniture and interior painting for all the rooms.
Jones Hall is named in honor of Dr. Richard W. Jones, the first president of the university.
