About Prof. Garrett

Wesley H. Garrett, Esq., holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honors, in Paralegal Studies from Mississippi University for Women and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law. She is an active member of both the Mississippi Bar and Alabama Bar Associations, gaining admission by examination. Her experience includes working as an associate attorney in the Tuscaloosa law firm Crownover, Standridge & Spence, where she concentrated her practice in business organizations, debtor and creditor bankruptcy and collection, domestic, administrative and municipal law areas. Ms. Garrett has a full time general law practice in Mississippi and Alabama state and federal courts. She is an active member in the Mississippi Paralegal Association, Golden Triangle Young Lawyers Association, Mississippi Bar’s Women’s Section, and Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Program.
