BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced its All-Academic honors for Fall sports and The W brought home 15 of the accolades. In all, there were 250 student-athletes earning All-Academic Team honors this fall from 13 core and affiliate members.

“I congratulate all of our Fall Sports members on being named to the SLIAC’s All-Academic Team in their respective sports,” The W Director of Athletics Buddy Foster said. “It says a lot about their dedication and commitment to their classroom work to be able to navigate the rigors of competing in an intercollegiate sport and carrying a full academic load, all while achieving at a high level.”

To earn All-Academic honors a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have spent one full academic year at their institution, and hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average. Student-athletes from sports holding championships during the fall were honored and included men’s and women’s cross country, women’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer, and volleyball.
