Professional Licensure
Mississippi University for Women’s ASN and BSN programs leading to licensure, satisfies the requirements set forth by the governing body in the State of Mississippi. Completion of the either the ASN or BSN prelicensure programs qualify graduates to take the NCLEX-RN ® which is the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Examination. Passage of the national exam is required for licensure to practice in the United States. Interested individuals should note that requirements for nursing licensure vary from state to state.
