Cecy Brooks earned her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Science at Mississippi State University. Her research focuses on understanding how contextual factors influence family finances and consumption practices. Her research interests include financial decision-making and family financial socialization. Additionally, she researches the impact of attitudes and knowledge of agricultural practices related to conservation and antibiotic usage. She currently serves as a board member of the Southeastern Council on Family Relations (SECFR) and is the faculty advisor for The W’s Family Council on Family Relations (WCFR) student organization.
