Which program should I choose?

The Psychology program at The W provides two degree options, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Science (BS). The choice between the two degrees depends on the student's interests and career goals. Both programs offer similar major coursework, which includes the fundamental principles of psychology, research methodologies, and statistical analysis. However, the BA degree requires 14 credit hours in a foreign language, which is ideal for students who want to broaden their cultural knowledge and communication skills. On the other hand, the BS degree requires 20 total credit hours in laboratory science, mathematics, and computer courses, making it a better option for students who prefer a more analytical and technical approach to psychology. Regardless of the degree chosen, the program provides a comprehensive education in psychology, preparing students for a wide range of career opportunities or further study in graduate school.
