An undergraduate student may earn as many as sixty semester hours of credit toward graduation through examination. Further information concerning credit by examination can be obtained by writing the Chair/Program Director of the academic department in which the student wishes to be tested.

The total number of hours earned through combined credit by CLEP (College Level Examination Program), AP (Advanced Placement), IB (International Baccalaureate), and CIP (Cambridge International Program), and community/junior college credit cannot exceed 50% of the semester hours required for a specific degree at Mississippi University for Women.
