About Ms. McConnel
Lynn P. McConnell, MS, CCC/SLP received her undergraduate degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of North Texas and Master of Science degree at Texas Woman’s University in Speech-Language Pathology, both located in Denton, Texas. Mrs. McConnell has over 25 years of experience in a variety of settings, including public schools, healthcare, and teletherapy with both the pediatric and geriatric populations. Mrs. McConnell’s areas of interest include preschool language development, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and teletherapy. She has provided virtual speech therapy services for the last 13 years across the United States and maintains several state licensures to continue to provide these services. She has presented on augmentative and alternative communication throughout the United States, including state and national conventions. Mrs. McConnell is a Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP™) Certified Professional, providing both evaluations and intervention for individuals utilizing speech-generating devices. Currently, she provides AAC evaluations, clinical supervision, and is the instructor of record for Communication Sciences and Disorders.
