Students often need financial assistance to fund their national and international programs. The W provides several resources for financial aid.
First, all students of The W may apply any available federal and state aid for which they qualify to any of the programs that The W sponsors or with which it is affiliated. To learn more about federal and state aid, contact The W's Financial Aid Office.
Second, W students who customarily receive institutional aid may apply that aid to their programs through ASU-Japan. See The W's Financial Aid Office for more details.
Third, W students going to ASU-Japan who are not on institutional aid may apply for study abroad scholarships if available. In addition, W students going on other sponsored or affiliated programs may apply for study abroad scholarships, but they will receive them, if available and awarded, in lieu of any institutional aid that they customarily receive.
Honors students doing their required study abroad should contact Dr. Kim Whitehead, Interim Director of the Gordy Honors College, about cost and scholarships.
Consult the list below or ask Professor Erinn Holloway, Coordinator of Study Abroad Programs, about the availability of more study abroad scholarships, grants or internships.
Students majoring in history can apply for study abroad funding through the Mary Lou Peyton Scholarship. Peyton Study Abroad scholarships may be applied to any study abroad program approved by the Study Abroad Office.
