The University of Alabama at Birmingham Chamber Trio consists of Dr. Denise Gainey, clarinet; Dr. James Zingara, trumpet; and Dr. Christopher Steele, piano. Dedicated to featuring new music, the ensemble will perform a program of works written especially for them including pieces by MUW’s own Dr. Joe L. Alexander and Dr. Valentin Bogdan.
