Kamilah Aisha Moon has been praised by Publishers Weekly for her second collection of poetry, Starshine and Clay, in which she “rages against violence in America… while also finding moments of beauty in nature as well as human kindness.” She has also written She Has a Name and is currently the Assistant Professor of Poetry and Creative Writing at Agnes Scott College. She is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize, a Lamda Literary Award finalist, and was selected by the Poetry Society of America as a New American Poet in 2015.
