Mary Miller is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and is one of the founding faculty members of The W’s Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing. Biloxi, her second novel, follows The Last Days of California and the story collections Always Happy Hour and Big World. She wrote Biloxi while living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with her dog Winter, and now lives in Oxford.
