Chantal James makes her first appearance at the symposium with her debut novel, None But the Righteous, which the LA Times has describes as “a deeply haunted novel that moves with calm and ruthless determination, like the eye of a hurricane.” James resides in Washington, DC, where she works for TechBridge Girls to further youth’s access to STEM opportunities. She holds an MA in Philosophy from American University, and received a Fulbright to study in Morocco.
