Message from the Senate President
Upholding the principle of shared governance that is the pillar of the university system, the MUW Faculty Senate is the representative body and collective voice of the MUW faculty. Its primary purpose is to serve as liaison between teaching faculty and the administration, including the President of the university. To that end, the Senate makes recommendations to the administration pertaining to faculty issues and academic programs and conveys pertinent information to the faculty as a whole. It is my hope that we will work together, sharing insights for future development and change to improve our institution.
Faculty Senate typically meets the second Friday of the month during the fall and spring semesters. Meetings are open to all faculty.
