About Campus Recreation
Campus Recreation strives to provide quality recreation opportunities for the MUW community and to create a safe environment that fosters development of the mind and body. The department offers programming tailored to the needs and desires of our users. The program areas include Aquatics, Intramural Sports, Open Recreation, Special Events, and Wellness. Campus Recreation is dedicated to maintaining clean and safe facilities for its members and pledges to serve all users in a professional and customer service-oriented manner.

Glen Halbert is a Columbus, MS native and a member of the Long Blue Line. He started his professional career at The W in August 2015, and later became a member of the Campus Recreation team in October 2016 as Assistant Director of Facilities Operations. He was promoted to Director in May 2024. In his down time Glen enjoys listening to music, reading, writing, and competing with his Intramural Sports team 20 Years Later. Glen believes that recreation is essential and that everyone can live a happier life by answering one simple question: How do you rec?
